Today we are teaming up against drugs. In sports, success takes discipline, focus, and a strong support system. We are all on the same team here. Look out for one another, and if you or a friend are ever struggling, be the teammate who speaks up and seeks support. Our Chemical Health Counselor Megan is here if you need anything, you can find her in the counseling office. Tomorrow is Pajama Day, so wear your PJs to show you are dreaming of a bright future!"

Today marks the start of Red Ribbon Week, a national campaign dedicated to promoting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle across the country. High school presents critical choices, and committing to a drug-free path keeps your future firmly in your hands. Dress up day Tomorrow is Sock It to Drugs Day, so remember to wear your craziest socks! Watch for lunchtime activities throughout this week to promote your own healthy lifestyle.

Do you have a JM junior who could be GREAT as a 'Big', in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program? We are looking for more current 11th graders to serve in this capacity .... they can earn high school elective credit, build great skills, add to their resume, and contribute to community. Class of 2027 Senior Yard Signs are available for purchase at the Attendance window. $25 cash, check to Senior Party or via QR code at the window. This is a fundraiser for the Senior Party.

WINTER SPORT REGISTRATION: we will be closing registration at midnight tonight (WED, OCT 21). We will open for a last chance registration next Tuesday (OCT 27) for every sport except winter dance..

We are excited to share that Rocket Academy, our after-school program, is available Monday through Thursday from 3:30–5:30 p.m. in the Library Media Center. Rocket Academy provides students with academic support or a quiet place to complete homework and study.
John Marshall teachers are available each day to assist students in all core subject areas: math, social studies, English, and science. Students are also provided with an after-school meal, and transportation home is available via the city bus using their school ID.
We encourage students to take advantage of this great opportunity to get extra help, stay on top of their schoolwork, and build confidence in their learning.
