Good Afternoon Rockets! This is your Thursday update from the Main Office!
Students who signed up for the blood drive should have received appointment information from their science teacher. Please take the required forms to be signed by a parent or guardian and bring them back to your appointment on Monday.
All clubs have been cancelled after school tonight. This would include Homework Help, KPOP, Writing Club, and Esports
The 2026-2027 Student Council application is now out. The application is posted in your various classrooms, on JM Happenings, and on the walls of JM. The main office also has a flyer.
Applications are due Monday, April 27, at 3:30 pm
Summer Credit Recovery registration forms are now available in the Counseling Office. Registration is due tomorrow, so do not wait to register. If you have questions, stop by the Counseling Office.
Seniors, if you are interested in speaking at Graduation, look for the assignment in the Class of 2026 Google Classroom to submit your speech. All entries must be submitted by tomorrow Friday, April 24th.

FCCLA members, Wednesday is our FCCLA meeting. Please make sure to be there to partake in the end of the year activities with us. If you cannot be there, please be sure to check the agenda for what is going on. Also do not forget we have a drive for Ronald McDonald House this week. Please bring in items to your English classes.

The JM Fall Dance team will be holding tryouts on May 19th and May 20th in the JM gym from 4-6PM. Tryouts are open to students who will be in grades 9-12 for the 2026-2027 school year. Look for the posters around the building to find the link to sign up.

The Asian Student Association will meet in Mr. Piehl's room today to begin planning activities for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
Today is the last day to get your Prom ticket. Stop in the Main Office to register and buy your ticket before 3:30 today.
The Airforce will be visiting JM on Thursday, April 23rd in the cafeteria during lunches

Rockets, if you are interested in being part of Student Council fill out the application to apply. Applications are due on Monday, April 27th by 3:30 PM. Look for the application link on the poster by the Main Office.

Juniors and Seniors, are you planning on going to Prom? Tomorrow Tuesday, April 21st is the last day to sign up and pay for your tickets. Look for The Great Gatsby posters with the QR code in the Main Office and in the hallway near Senior T to register for your ticket. If your guest attends a Rochester Public School high school, the date form is included on the Prom Ticket and Guest Form, so when you register for your own ticket you can register your guest at the same time. If your guest attends a school outside of Rochester Public Schools, please pick up a paper date form in the Main Office. Paper date forms are due on Tuesday, April 21st.
