Good Afternoon Rockets! This is your Friday update from the Main Office!
Juniors! ACT Prep starts on Monday, March 9th! If you haven't signed up, check out the link on the Class of 2027 Google Classroom. Worried that you can't make all the dates? Sign-up and come to the first session to find out how we can make the ACT Prep class work for you. Talk to Mrs. Clarenbach in room 3-115 if you have any questions.
On Monday, March 9th Minnesota State University Mankato will be at JM at 1:00 PM. A representative from the University of Minnesota Duluth will be visiting on Tuesday, March 10th at 9:00 AM and St. Cloud State will be here on Wednesday, March 11th at 12:20. If you are interested in attending any of the visits, please pick up a pass in the Counseling Office or the Main Office. All of the visits will take place in the CCRC room 3-105.

French Club will meet on March 11th after school until 4 PM in room 3-G17. We will be taking the club yearbook photo so be sure to attend!. We'll be celebrating Mardi Gras and Crepe day with crepes!
We have a number of universities visiting JM in the coming days. Concordia College will be here tomorrow from 10:30-11:30. On March 9th Minnesota State University Mankato will be at JM at 1:00 PM. Busing information for today: Bus 67 will cover bus 29 this afternoon loading between 3:50 and 4:00.

Chess Club Members!
The Chess Club will not be taking yearbook photos today; instead, please come next Wednesday, March 11th, after school in room 2-109. If you're a member, please plan to attend so you can be included in the yearbook picture.
Today is chess movie day after school. Hope to see you there.

Attention FCCLA members, there will be no workshop meeting after school today! Next Wednesday we will be having our photo taken for the yearbook! Please arrive by 3:40! They will be in room 2-203 to take photos at 3:45! Thank you. We will have a normal business meeting after that. Please make sure to get State Permission Slips to Ms Hansen or Ms Mayol by this week!
Crochet club will meet in 3-G07 today after school, and Yearbook will be there to take pictures.

HOSA- As we know we do not have school tomorrow, our meeting will be today instead. We will be talking about final details for SLC like the schedule, what it will look like, packing lists, and more! If you are going to SLC you need to be at the meeting.
Chess Club Members!
The Chess Club will be taking yearbook photos this Wednesday after school in room 2-109. If you're a member, please plan to attend so you can be included in the yearbook picture.
Also this Wednesday after school is chess movie day. Join us at 3:45 along with pizza, popcorn, and drinks. Hope to see you there!
The Med City Kids Marathon is right around the corner, and they are looking for volunteers to help make race day a success.
The Kids Marathon will take place on Saturday, May 16. The race begins at 4:00 PM, with the start and finish line celebration held behind the Mayo Civic Center, at the Mayo Memorial Park Playground. Volunteers are needed between 2:00–6:00 PM (times may vary depending on assignment). High school students are also welcome and encouraged to sign up to volunteer.
