Good Afternoon Rockets! This is your Friday update from the Main Office!
Winter is coming. Do you need a winter coat? Stop by to see Mrs. Vasquez in the Community Room 3-111 and see if she has a coat for you.
A rep from the Army National Guard will be at JM on Monday, November 10, during all three lunches.
The Rocket Shop will be open Friday, November 14th, during all lunches. Come buy your Rocket Spirit gear for the holidays!
Interested in a healthcare career? HOSA is a club for students aspiring to work in the healthcare field and broaden their skills in teamwork and leadership along with learning about different healthcare professions. The next meeting is on Tuesday after school in Dr. Reimans's room (5-203) at 3:40.
JM Speech will have informational meetings on Tuesday, November 11th from 8:15-8:40 am and on Wednesday, November 12th from 3:45-4:10 pm in 3-G22. Come learn about all the different categories from acting to public speaking and see which is right for you! Everyone is welcome! Follow our IG account for more details! Go, fight, speak!
Environmental club would like to announce that on November 24th and 25th they will be hosting the first of the bi-annual thrift drive in the Rocket Center during lunches and after school. From now until the 10th, donate any old or used clothes in the donation bin located in the Main Lobby. Celebrate sustainability by donating and thrifting this year!

Bonjour JM! It's Day 5 of national French week. Random French fact of the day: The French are known for many inventions such as Braille, the metric system, the pencil and pencil sharpener, Bic pens, camera phones, the first restaurant, the stethoscope, the parachute, pasteurization, the bicycle, the hot air balloon, the sewing machine, the Etch-a-sketch, photography, the first movie camera, the calculator, aspirin, scooter, helicopter, and hairdryer to name a few! :)
French Club will be meeting on Wednesday, November 12, in room 3-G17 after school until 4:00 PM.

Bonjour JM! It's Day 4 of National French Week. Random French fact of the day: The French love their bread, especially the baguette which is a long and thin loaf with a crusty top and soft inside. They consume over 10 billion baguettes a year! They buy one daily from a local bakery and eat it with every meal!

Bonjour JM! It's National French Week!
Did you know that the French didn't like the Eiffel Tower when it was built? They actually hated it and wanted it to come down after the World's Fair it was made for in 1889. The creator, Gustave Eiffel, made sure it would last, however, when he included rivets. What a riveting story right?
