Good Afternoon Rockets! This is your Friday update from the Main Office!

On Monday, September 15th After school Homework help is back in session.  Monday through Thursday from 3:35 to 5:35 in the library teachers will be available to help you out.  Look for the posters around the building for more information. 

The first Writing Club meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, September 16 in room 5-G12 from 3:30 to 5:30.  If you are interested, go check it out.

If you filled out the parking pass form, you can pick up your parking pass in the Main Office or Attendance window.  


Picture Make-Up Day is Wednesday, September 17 in the Rocket Center.  If you haven’t had your picture taken yet, please do so next week.

Are you interested in a career in the outdoors? We will be offering a BIPOC Women in the Outdoors field trip in later September. See Mrs. Vasquez in 3-111 for more information. She promises it to be super fun!

Interested in a future in community service or health services? Red Cross Club is having their first informational meeting after school today in Mrs. May's room 3-201. We'll be going over what the Red Cross Club is all about and making posters to put up around the school!

The key to success is here! Key Club will be having our first meeting tomorrow in Mr. Baker's Room. Stop by before or after school to learn more about what Key Club is and how we give back to our community. There will be snacks and a fun craft activity!

New this year to JM is the Clovers Drill and Dance Team.  Look for the Try Out sign up sheet posted  around the building.  We plan to meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:35 to 5:30.  This is open to girls and boys at JM.

The University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus will be visiting JM  tomorrow at 10:00 AM in the CCRC room 3-105.  If you would like to participate in the meeting, please pick up a college visit pass from the Main Office, Counseling Office or Attendance window.

Rockets, the afterschool meal program has begun! Meals are available Monday through Thursday from 3:45-4:15 in the Cafeteria!

Girls tennis match is postponed until tomorrow due to weather. Practice will still be on as normal. 

Rockets, if you are outside during lunch or in the parking lot.  Please remember to throw your garbage in the garbage cans not on the ground.  Let's work together to keep JM and our JM neighborhood clean!

Students in grades 9 and 10 who have not had their picture taken today.  Please head to the auditorium now.

Good Afternoon Rockets! This is your Monday update from the Main Office!

Hey JM- Model UN will have our first meeting of the year at 8am tomorrow morning in Mr. Luedtke's room, room 3-210.  

We will describe what Model UN is, what we do throughout the year, what happens at the big state conference, the possibility of lettering in Model UN, and when our meetings will be for the rest of the year.  There will also be donuts!  Join us tomorrow morning, Luedtke's room, 8am!

We’re excited to announce the formation of the Arab Culture Club here at JM. Our club will celebrate Arab culture, history, and traditions while creating a welcoming space for everyone of all backgrounds to learn and connect. If you’re interested in joining, come to our first meeting next Tuesday from 3:30 - 5:00 in room 2-109. We can’t wait to see you there!

KPOP is back in session starting on Monday September 8.  Join us in Mr Jones’ room 3-117 Monday through Thursday 4:00 to 5:30.  

FFA will be having our first meeting on Monday, Sept 8th from 4-5pm at CTECH. Any students who are interested can contact Ms. Gerber with questions, or just show up!

JM Debate will be having a new member meeting after school today. The meeting will cover the basics of Congressional Debate. Please come to 3-G22 (Ms. Sagstuen's room) after school if you are interested! The meeting will be from 3:45-4:45.
