Rockets, are you ready to take the plunge? Be part of the first annual Cool School Polar Plunge at John Marshall on Tuesday, March 11. Get your friends together to raise money for Special Olympics and John Marshall. Check your school email for more information on how to sign up, raise money and take the plunge.
Would you like a world with more birthdays? So would we. Join the Relay For Life Committee and help us fight cancer. Our next meeting will be Wednesday morning, March 5th in room 2-201 at 8:30.
Help support the senior class party by purchasing a lollipop for $1 at the attendance window.
Would you like to be a part of a peaceful movement regarding the Rochester community? You’re all invited to attend, “Immigrant Rights; Rochester’s Reality”, a rally advocating for immigration rights. Rochester Community Initiative is a youth-led organization dedicated to promoting equity, civic engagement, and meaningful policy changes that impact our diverse community. This rally will take place this upcoming Sunday, March 2nd from 1-4pm beginning at the Olmsted County Government Center. Senior Hawweraa Negassa will be speaking at the rally so show up and support! For more information regarding the rally check in with junior Aden Aden who is a RCI director and check out @rochinitiative on Instagram.

Juniors and Seniors, it’s time to vote for this year’s Prom theme. An email was sent to you on Monday with the link to vote. Voting closes at noon tomorrow Thursday, February 27th.

Rockets, Come cheer on our girls basketball team tonight at 7:00 at Mayo High School in the section playoff game against Mayo. Since it is a section game everyone needs a ticket. You can buy your ticket in advance on the GoFan App. $6 for students, $10 for adults.

John Marshall FCCLA is conducting our second annual charity supply drive for the local Ronald McDonald House. Next week, February 24-28, we are collecting packed and canned foods, hygiene items, school supplies, and other items that you can find on the Ronald Mcdonald House supply list. Donation boxes can be found in all English classrooms, and Mrs.Hansen’s room in 2-203. With our great success last year, we hope to continue our initiative of JM rockets giving back to our local community and helping those in need.

JM PRIDE T-Shirts are still available for pre-order. Shirts are $17 and you can either get it in white with black letters or you can get it tie-dyed. You do not have to tie-dye it yourself.
