Good Afternoon Rockets! This is your Friday update from the Main Office.
Come join us in the fight against cancer. Our next Relay For Life meeting will be Wednesday, Nov 20th at 8:30 am in room 2-201. Help us create a world with more birthdays.
Rockets, PARANOIA is a school-wide tag game. It is a JM Gives tradition, and it is super fun. Bring $5 and sign up outside the cafeteria during all lunches, in the main office, room 3-200B, or with your social studies teacher. All proceeds go towards JM Gives. Remember it for the kids.
FCCLA members, don't forget we have a meeting on Tuesday November 19th in room 2-203. We are discussing JM Gives, Holiday Party, competitions and many community service events. See you there!

JM Speech will have an informational meeting after school today from 3:40-4:10 in Ms. Sagstuen's room, 3-G22. Come learn about all the different categories from acting to public speaking to see which is right for you! Everyone is welcome!
Rockets, if you are in the building after school you must be here for a sport, club or activity and remain in the space where the event is meeting. You cannot be in the building after school unsupervised. If you have any questions, please come to the office.
Black Student Union will be meeting after school today in the CCRC room 3-105.
Crochet club will meet in room 3-G07 today.
Rockets, tomorrow at 11:25 in the front lobby, we will be sending members of our girls swim and dive team to the State Meet at the University of Minnesota. Come and wish good luck to Shannon Penney, Julia Ogren, Mayson Pettengill, Julia Walters, Olivia Ruzek, Abby Tri, Amelia Mett, Augusta Mett, Kayla Mingo and Janet Njeru. Go Rockets!

JM Speech will have an informational meeting on Wednesday, November 13th from 3:40-4:10 in Ms. Sagstuen's room, 3-G22. Come learn about all the different categories from acting to public speaking to see which is right for you! Everyone is welcome!
FCCLA members, there will be a meeting after school today in room 2-203. Please attend to see what the plans are for November and December. Also, if you are planning on competing, it is important for you to be there. See you then!
For students interested in health science careers or learning more about them our next HOSA meeting is today after school in Dr. Reiman's classroom 5-203. We will be meeting to learn more about opportunities within HOSA particularly about competitions and opportunities at the State Level.
We will be connecting with a MN HOSA state officer from Kingsland High School who will share their experiences and perspective as a member of HOSA. Come with any questions or to learn more about HOSA. All are welcome.
Tomorrow the Strive College Fair will be in the gym from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Please register for a barcode before the fair using the QR code on the poster by the Main Office. During the fair, colleges will scan your barcode to send you more information about their schools. The day after the fair, you will receive a report with information on the colleges with whom you scanned. There will be over 40 colleges and universities here including Dakota County Technical College, Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences, Gustavus, Hamline University and St Olaf University. Register now and visit the fair on Wednesday. QR Code on Page 2.
