If you didn’t have your picture taken this week, Lifetouch will be back on Wednesday next week for picture make-up day.
Hey JM! Interested in global politics? Want to improve research and speaking skills? Just want to have some fun with more than 1,000 other students at the state conference? Join Model United Nations! Our first meeting is next Tuesday, from 3:30 - 4:30, in Mr. Luedtke's room, 3-210.
Interested in Career Exploration? Join us for one of two upcoming field trip events to explore a variety of careers. One is the Mayo Clinic Career Fair and the other at Mystery Cave State Park exploring outdoor careers . See Mrs. Vasquez in 3-111 soon for more information.
FCCLA members, there will be a club meeting on Tuesday 9/17 after school in room 2-203. We will be discussing the float as well as other items. If you cannot make it, see Mrs. Hansen or an FCCLA officer and we will fill you in on what's happening. Otherwise check Google Classroom for announcements. See you there!
JM Rocket Radio Club is starting this coming Wednesday afterschool in room 5-110! This year we are doing more soldering projects, building antennas, listen to satellites and get ready to get our first radio Technician License! Students that pass the Technician License test will have their FCC application and testing fees paid for. See Ms. Erickson in 5-110 or come on over on Wednesday!
Have a great idea for creating a new app for your phone? Curious about why or how something works the way it does? The JM STEM Mentoring club is starting this Tuesday in room 5-110 with Ms. Erickson. Work with mentors from Mayo Clinic to explore your own curiosities. To be ready for the SE Regional STEM Fair in Spring and eCybermission for Freshman start NOW. Come Tuesday's after school to register with Oraculi (oar-a-cull-ee) and get help!
Attention all students interested in a future career in business. Business Professionals of America (BPA) will have our first informational meeting on Thursday, September 19th in room 3-G00 at 8:15am. Hope to see you there!

If you are bringing a date from another school, pick up a date form in the Main Office. Remember, the date form must be completed before your guest’s ticket can be purchased.

Hey Everybody, K Pop is back in session. If you would like to join us, come to the Rocket Center Monday through Thursday afterschool to see what we are about.
Rockets, are you interested in learning more about the clubs and activities we have at JM. Thursday, September 12 during all 3 lunch periods there will be a club and activity fair in the Wrestling Room. Go check it out!
If you bought a yearbook last year, the Spring insert is available to pick up in the main office or at the attendance window.
If you requested a locker, all lockers have been assigned. Please check the Student Info tab in Skyward to find your locker number and combination.
Rockets, Parking Passes are now available. Find the Parker Pass Signs to fill out the form and pick up your pass in the Main Office. You will need to know your license plate number as well as the year, make, model and color of your car.

Attention JM students the John Marshall Environmental Club is having its first meeting of the year this Thursday. Come in before school starting at 8am in room 5-212 to find out what the environmental club is all about. 9/10 & 9/11
This is to all JM students who enjoy using their brain to solve problems and think outside the box. John Marshall has a science Olympiad team and we compete against other schools in science themed events. To learn more about all of this, come to one of the informational meetings this Wednesday. Before school or afterschool whichever works best for you in room 5-212 see Mr. Stanslaski for more information. 9/10 & 9/11

Reminder, Picture Day for grades 9 & 10 is tomorrow and Wednesday for grades 11 & 12. Get your picture taken so you can get a new student ID card. Remember you will need your ID if you plan on attending the Homecoming Dance.
