AP Testing Information

2024 AP Exam Schedule

Students who have registered to take Advanced Placement exams will be receiving emails about their exam date/s, room assignment/s and general information the first week in May to prepare for the AP exams which begin May 6, 2024.  The exam schedule is included below. (I sent these emails at 1:30 p.m. on May 1, 2024.)

Students should check their emails and read them for the next three weeks.  The College Board has already sent them an email with the 2024 AP Exam Terms and Conditions. The 2024 AP® Exam Terms and Conditions are available to review at cb.org/apexamterms. This agreement details the rules and policies students must follow related to taking the 2024 AP Exams.

AP students will receive a pop-up menu when they log on to MyAP, or for seniors, AP Classroom.  They will be asked to choose a college/university/scholarship organization to receive an official AP Score Report.  They get 1 free report which includes all of their AP Exam scores for each year they take an exam.  This needs to be completed before June 20, 2024.

Students should arrive prepared for their exams by 7:30 a.m. for morning exams and by 11:30 a.m. for afternoon exams.  Late students will not be admitted into the test room and will not be allowed to take the exam at that time.

**Please Note:  It is College Board policy that all students must stay until the end of the exam time even if the student has completed the exam.  If you have an athletic event, job, or appointment scheduled, please be aware that most afternoon exams will not be done until 3:45 - 4:00.  Inform your coaches, bosses, and doctors. Plan accordingly.

  • If you are taking an afternoon exam, you will be dismissed at 11 a.m. so you can eat lunch before the exam.  Please report to your exam room by 11:30 a.m.

  • If you are taking a morning exam and have 4th hour lunch, you will be excused from the first part of 5th hour to eat lunch.

  • If you are taking two exams in one day, plan ahead.  Bring lunch and/or snacks with you so you have something to eat during breaks.

*2 sharpened #2 pencils with erasers for multiple choice questions.  NO mechanical pencils.

*2 pens with black or blue ink for free response questions.

*A watch
