Want to learn social emotional skills, decrease stress, and have fun all while earning .5 credit? Sign up for the Social Emotional Intelligence Class that starts February 12th. The class will run from 3:30-5:30 every Monday and Wednesday until April 29th. Sign up using the google form on signs around the building or talk with Mr. Schneider, Ms. Donovan, or Ms. Ellson. Sign ups close February 8th.
Attention FCCLA students, there will be a meeting after school on Tuesday, February 6th in room 2-203. Please come to discuss FCCLA week, new officer information and many other items. See you then.
We want to give a special shout out to a 2019 JM grad, Matthew Hurt, who played in his first NBA GAME on Monday for the Memphis Grizzlies. He played 23 minutes and scored 10 points.

Valentine’s day is quickly approaching! If you’re looking for a gift to show your appreciation to those you love, fill out the order form by scanning the QR code at jmhappenings on Instagram, or on the posters in the hallways by February 6th. Flowers will be delivered by our very own Cupids during 2nd, 3rd, and 7th hour on February 14th.

RISE for Youth, which is a collaboration between the NAACP and Mayo Clinic, will be on-site tomorrow during all three lunches in the cafeteria. They will be sharing about an awesome summer opportunity to gain valuable leadership skills and professional connections. This is your chance to learn more and ask questions. The application process is currently open and highly competitive. See Mrs. Vasquez in 3-111 with questions.

Rockets, please check your email. If you got an email that says you need to complete your registration for the 2024-2025 school year, please report to the Counseling Office during your open hour, advisory, or tomorrow morning. Students should bring their completed registration form. Extra forms will be available in the counseling office.

The Black Student Union is presenting a Tour of Africa on Thursday, February 8th during all three lunches stop in the Rocket Center to taste food from all over Africa.

William Tran. Gold medal and state qualifier with his Professional Presentation on the National Health Care Crisis
Mikaryia Sunia. Gold medal and State qualifier for her Career Investigation project
Manal Mahamoud. GOLD medal in Job Interview and a Silver Medal for her Leadership Project and also a State qualifier in BOTH CATEGORIES
And Kya Lee Silver Medal for her Professional Presentation on the Crisis of day care workers in the US. She also qualified for State competition!!
