Last week, our JM Mural Artist, Greta McLain of GoodSpace Murals, spent a week with our JM Community listening, asking questions and learning a lot about JM. She asked questions like...
How do you want people to feel when they see the mural? (this is represented in the word cloud)
What are some ways JM contributes to the greater community?
How is the rich diversity of JM preparing you for life after high school?
What are some important traditions at JM?
What makes JM unique from other schools?
This mural-mosaic has already been an incredible platform for students & the JM community share, connect and think about what they most value about high school. Greta will be working with our JM community over the next two months to design and refine our massive 1700 square foot mural, before returning in April to invite everyone to come paint the mural & create the mosaic patterns. YOU are all invited!
The mural is all funded through grants and private donations. We are asking for your support. Every contribution toward the mural is an investment in our community and matters.
Please check out our website for information about murals, public art, how to donate, ways to be involved, a platform to share you thoughts, etc...
