Maddie Klein is a senior at JM and has already created a favorite senior memory. Maddie joined the JM Football Team float at our Homecoming Parade last weekend. She was so happy to have friends and peers calling out HELLO to her as the float made its way down the parade path.
Maddie is autistic, and while she does vocalize she does not communicate with words. This can make communication challenging with many, but those that know and love Maddie best can easily tell what she wants and needs by her facial expressions, body language and sounds.
Maddie is an absolute lover of the Vikings and her favorite activity is watching football with her family. Maddie loves school for all the social aspects, and enjoys spending time with her friends here. Her face lights up when they are around. Maddie, and those who know her, would want you to know that while Maddie may seem different than many of us, she really is just like everyone else - has passions, friends she enjoys, and family she loves.
