Good Afternoon Rockets!  This is your Tuesday update from the main office.

  • Rockets, are you looking for a club or after school activity to participate in.  There are a number of great clubs for you to choose from.
  • Are you interested in Gardening or working in our Greenhouse?  There will be an informational meeting for returning and new members of the John Marshall Greenhouse, Gardening and Grounds Club this week.  There will be a meeting held in the greenhouse after school on Thursday, September 7th at 3:30 or you can attend before school on Friday, September 8th at 7:30 AM. 
  • Do you like to play chess?  Chess club is having an informational meeting this Wednesday right after school in room 5-110.  See Mr. Stanslaski if you have questions about chess club
  • Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 6th  is the first FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) meeting!  Come to room 2-203 (FACS Room) to find out about the club and how to join.  We will be talking about who wants to be an officer and the upcoming concession dates as well as the Fall Festival.  Hope to see you there!  See Mrs. Hansen if you have any questions.
  • There’s a back to school Rocket Boost this Thursday! Real farm animals will be out front for our own petting zoo. Come join us during your lunch hour - we can't wait to see you!"

Good Afternoon Rockets!  This is your Wednesday update from the main office.

  • There will be an informational meeting for returning and new members this week of the Gardening, Greenhouse and Grounds Club.  There will be a meeting held in the greenhouse after school on Thursday, September 7th at 3:30 or you can attend before school on Friday, September 8h at 7:30 AM. 
  • Chess club is having an informational meeting today right after school in room 5-110.  See Mr. Stanslaski if you have questions about chess club.
  • Business Professional of America  - BPA informational meeting September 12th right after school in room 3G00. Business Professionals of America is the nation’s leading CTSO (Career Technical Student Organization) providing students and members with invaluable skill development and the opportunity to make personal connections. Students that  join Business Professionals of America have the opportunity to further their knowledge and prepare for a career in today’s fast paced business environments. We offer an assortment of engaging learning tracks that will strengthen their core understanding and lay the foundation for the next steps in their lives.
  • Key Club is meeting in Mr. Baker's room (3-G08) after school this Friday September 8th. Anyone looking for a positive experience rooted in community service is welcome to attend!
  • JM PRIDE, JM's LGBTQIA+ community will begin meeting after school on Tuesdays  in Ms. Oxley's room 2-214. Everyone is welcome to attend. We hope to see you there. First meeting is September 12th.

Students who need help with homework can come to the library after school from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to work on their homework with teachers from each subject area. Hope to see you there.
  • Rockets- did you buy last year’s yearbook?  Stop by the Main Office to pick up the Spring Yearbook Insert to add all the JM events of last Spring to your yearbook.  
  • We want to congratulate our Boys Soccer team for their win against Winona last night 1 to 0.  They are now undefeated!  JV Boys soccer beat Winona 3-0!
  • We would also like to congratulate our JV Football team for their win against Kasson last night 24-16!
  • Tomorrow is the day! The first Rocket Boost of the year will be bringing real farm animals to our front yard! Come and join us during your lunch period for a petting zoo- see you there!'
